Mondo

Mondo is a stunning 5-6 year old, 50-55lb Australian Shepherd mix with a unique charcoal grey coat, white belly, and spotted legs. Don't let his age fool you – he's an active and happy boy who loves to play! Mondo is up-to-date on all his shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He's also house-trained and crate-trained.

Ideal Home

Mondo thrives with regular exercise, whether it's walks, hikes, or camping. He's not suited for apartment living or being left alone in the yard. He can be an only dog or live with medium to large male or female dog friends. He can also join a family with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person, as long as he's an active part of their daily life. Mondo is not to be tethered or allowed to use an electric fence.

Ongoing Health

Mondo is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mondo knows basic commands but is not yet trained for off-leash activities. He is very smart and eager to learn, especially with his food motivation. While he had some issues with fence climbing in a previous environment, this has not been a problem in his current foster home where he receives plenty of exercise. He enjoys car rides and can be a couch companion for movie nights.
