Meet Genie!

Genie is a 9-year-old, 60 lb Heeler mix with a heart of gold and a brain to match! She's incredibly intelligent and knows a remarkable number of commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, and roll over. Genie loves to engage with her person and would be an amazing companion for someone who enjoys a clever, interactive dog. She's a big fan of long walks, outdoor adventures, squeaky toys, sticks, and cozy snuggles. Despite her active side, she's a total cuddle bug who always wants to be close to her favorite human. Genie forms a deep bond with her people and is incredibly loyal, making her a devoted best friend.

Ideal Home

Genie would thrive in an adult-only home as the only dog. She may coexist with a calm cat, but she is not a fit for homes with children or small animals. She needs a patient, confident adopter who understands independent dogs and will let her settle in at her own pace, respecting her boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Genie is potty trained and crate trained.

Genie is highly trained and walks well on a leash. She is full of funny quirks and personality.
