GATOR

Gator is a handsome, curious, and friendly fellow with perfect pointy ears, ready to embark on new adventures with his forever family. He recently transferred to us for a fresh start and is eager to find his perfect match. Gator is a very energetic and playful dog who loves his toys and chasing balls. He's also a great companion for long hikes and trail running, enjoying exploring the outdoors and even taking a dip in a pond on a hot day. He's affectionate and sweet with people, and generally gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a little nervous around unfamiliar dogs and may bark once before trying to move in the opposite direction. Gator is also well-behaved in the car, calm and quiet during rides, and enjoys resting his head on his human's lap. At home, he's respectful, enjoys playtime in the yard, and is happy to chew on his toys.

Gator would thrive in an active home with a family who enjoys the outdoors and can provide him with plenty of opportunities for exercise and exploration.

Training & Support

Gator pulls slightly on the leash when he wants to sniff and mark territory, but this can be managed with redirection. He is interested in and will bark at other dogs. He can get the zoomies but calms down when on leash. He doesn't jump.
