Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix weighing around 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. She has a charming habit of giving the biggest, silliest smiles when receiving affection and is a world-class cuddler. If invited onto the couch, she's on her best behavior to keep her spot, and she occasionally gets spontaneous zoomies that make her look like a flying baby goat!
Ideal Home
Cally would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her energy and continue her training. She loves playing with other dogs of all sizes and would enjoy a canine companion, though it's not required as long as she gets plenty of playtime and activity. She is excellent with children of all ages and is welcoming to strangers. While she is learning to have full freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent chewing on shoes or blankets, she is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She does best sleeping alone in her crate at night and when napping during the day.
Ongoing Health
Cally is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Cally may pull on the leash initially due to excitement, but she calms down with consistent walking and continued leash training. She is fully crate-trained and house-trained. She needs supervision indoors until she is more reliable with her freedom. Cally needs to be fed separately from other dogs due to resource guarding around food, though she does not guard toys or treats. Feeding her in her crate works well. She is food-motivated, making training fun and rewarding.
