Meet Clover Jr., or CJ as we affectionately call him! He's the sole boy of our adorable "Spring Litter," with two lovely sisters, Spring and Blossom. Their mom is a delightful Pit/Collie mix. Born on January 29, 2026, in Woodbury, TN, these pups have overcome a challenging start. Their original family had several dogs that were not spayed or neutered and roamed freely. We're happy to report that Mom will be spayed, and these pups have moved to a loving foster home where they are truly thriving! They've already received two of their four crucial parvo/distemper vaccines and will continue their vaccination series every three weeks. CJ and his siblings are incredibly friendly and get along wonderfully with both people and other animals.
Ideal Home
CJ is a true sweetheart with a gentle and loving nature. He might be a little shy when you first meet him, but with a little patience and warmth, his affectionate personality will blossom. Once he feels comfortable and knows you, he's ready to offer endless love, loyalty, and companionship. Because of his early experiences with neglect, he can be a bit uncertain at first, but he's learning rapidly that people are kind. He'll blossom into an incredibly devoted best friend for a patient and loving family.
Ongoing Health
CJ is up-to-date on his parvo/distemper vaccines and will continue receiving them every three weeks until his series is complete. He's also received some de-wormings. Additional vetting, including spay/neuter, rabies, Bordetella, leptospirosis vaccines, and a heartworm test, will be completed closer to six months of age. Puppies can go to their forever homes before this, with the understanding that the rescue will continue to support the remaining vetting.
Training & Support
While CJ is generally friendly and well-socialized with people and other animals, his past experiences mean he can be a bit reserved initially. He's a quick learner and will benefit greatly from consistent positive reinforcement, patience, and love to build his confidence.
