Moose is a handsome 3-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 62 lbs. His striking red merle coat gives him a unique, sophisticated look, like a living piece of art! Moose arrived at our shelter as a stray on March 6th, 2026. He had previously been adopted from us in September 2025, but sadly, his previous owner had to rehome him due to landlord issues. It's believed that the person who took him in after that may have abandoned him near Woolmarket Elementary School, where he was found by Animal Control. Moose is such a resilient and loving dog, and it's heartbreaking to think of him being abandoned. He truly deserves a loving, forever home where he'll be cherished. Moose enjoys the company of other dogs, though he's also happy to be your one-and-only furry friend. If you have a dog over 6 months old, we recommend a proper introduction when Moose joins your family. He's a social butterfly when it comes to meeting new people and can sometimes forget his size, thinking he's a lap dog! He's also great with older children and is looking forward to meeting you. Moose is a fantastic leash walker and is eager to explore the world with his new family.
Ideal Home
Moose would do well in a home with older children. He doesn't require a fenced yard and is happy to adopt to families with children.
Ongoing Health
Moose's adoption fee includes being up-to-date on vaccines and being microchipped.
