Tango the Tiny Dancer

If you're looking for a best friend with the absolute best smile and a sugary sweet affectionate soul, meet Tango the Tiny Dancer! This boy is the full package: loyal, playful, soooo loving, and a total goofball with the pittie head that'll make you fall in love at first sight! We believe Tango is a Boxer/Pittie mix around 1 year old and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He has the perfect little compact body and the most handsome face ever. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed are our best guess and cannot be guaranteed.

Tango has never met a stranger he doesn't like. He's the kind of dog who walks into a room and instantly makes everyone feel like they've been best friends for years. And if you've got treats? Well, buckle up, because you've just become the center of his universe. He was not shy giving everyone at the property his undivided attention for a quick round of kisses and puppy tail wags. Treats are the way to this boy's heart, and he'll show his appreciation with his signature toothy grin and the happiest tail wag you've ever seen. His love for people runs deep. His foster says her favorite thing about him is how he'll climb into her lap and just gaze into her eyes like she's the most important person in the world. He is cuddly beyond belief and would absolutely thrive in a home where he can curl up next to you, soaking in all the love you have to give.

After a bit of play, Tango knows how to settle down. One of our favorite moments with him was after the crowd cleared and he just hung out with us in a quiet room, relaxed and content, soaking up some one-on-one time. He'll make a great adventure buddy followed by an evening relaxing on the couch. He walks beautifully on leash and would be the kind of dog you take to the park, patio, or trail and know he'll be right by your side, smiling the whole way.

Ideal Home

Tango would thrive in a home with another medium energy dog to spend his days with. He would do best in a home with a yard to run off his zoomies, and we can easily see him thriving with older, dog-savvy kids who'll love him as much as he loves them. Cats are not his cup of tea.

Training & Support

Tango is crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. He has extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on staff.

• The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting, vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, microchip, a Martingale collar, a health certificate for travel, and the cost of transport.
• You will meet your pet through a video call before the adoption is finalized.

Transporation

Tango is located in Texas. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using their USDA certified transport system. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
