About Niko

My name is Niko, and I'm a handsome 3.5-year-old, 72-pound Black Labrador Retriever mix with a heart full of love and a nose for adventure! I was rescued from doggy death row and am incredibly grateful for a second chance at finding my forever family. I'm still young at heart and enjoy toys and chew bones, and I'm a natural explorer, so nose work activities would be fantastic for me. I absolutely adore water and would be thrilled to have a life jacket for all our aquatic adventures! I'm also quite the snuggler with my people and am generally well-behaved when I'm home. I dream of going on hikes and camping trips with you to explore the great outdoors. While I get a bit nervous in busy public places like stores, I'd be happy to visit less crowded spots like parks. Plus, I'm incredibly photogenic – my Instagram handle is @BigNik, and I'm ready for my close-up!

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home with a nice fenced yard where I can safely explore and relax in the sunshine. I do best in a cat-free environment, as I tend to get a little too excited around them.

Ongoing Health

I'm up-to-date on all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), and I've been spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Training & Support

While I'm a good boy, I can get a bit too excited around cats, so a cat-free home is ideal. I'm not overly food motivated, which is a bit unusual for a Lab!
