Outlaw

Meet Outlaw! This handsome 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, weighing around 44 lbs, is ready for a fresh start after being found on Brockway Dr. in Rockwall. While Outlaw is new to us, we're already seeing his sweet, people-oriented nature shine through. He can be a bit shy at first, but he's eager for companionship and is quickly learning to enjoy his walks on leash.

Ideal Home

Outlaw would thrive in a home where he won't be left alone for long periods. He's looking for a family that is home often, perhaps with someone who works from home or a stay-at-home household member. He's not a fan of spending extended time outdoors by himself and might try to find a way to seek out company, so a commitment to keeping him safely indoors as part of the family is essential. Outlaw also seems to do best with female dog companions who can keep up with his energy and play style. A meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog at home.

Ongoing Health

Outlaw is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his rabies vaccine and boosters. He is heartworm positive, but thankfully, his treatment is sponsored.

Training & Support

We're still learning about Outlaw's quirks, but he's showing good progress with leash walking. He really thrives on human interaction, so continued positive reinforcement and inclusion in family activities will be key to his continued success.
