Seokryu is a sweet, gentle, affectionate 8-year-old Poodle with a registered Korea Kennel Federation pedigree. She loves staying close to her person, going for walks, and learning from canine companions. As she gains confidence, this loving girl is beginning to explore the world with greater ease.

Ideal Home

Seokryu needs a patient home where someone is present most of the time and where shared walls with neighbors can be avoided due to her vocal separation anxiety. She would enjoy a confident, friendly resident dog, though she can also live as the only dog. She has not been cat tested, and any cat introduction should involve a dog-savvy cat. She should not live with children under 12; visiting children may be suitable with supervision.

Ongoing Health

Seokryu weighs 13.5 pounds and was born on December 5, 2018. She had 16 teeth removed during her dental on October 27, along with completed bloodwork, updated vaccinations, and parasite prevention. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, deworming, flea and tick prevention, vaccinations, dentals or additional surgical care if needed, a nose-to-tail health exam, and 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance with immediate coverage for new illnesses or injuries that are not pre-existing.

Training & Support

Seokryu is fully housetrained and enjoys three daily walks. She remains nervous around unfamiliar people and dogs, though she is making progress and no longer freezes as often. She has separation anxiety and may bark when she cannot see her person, so continued patience, confidence-building, and professional training would be valuable. She currently eats twice daily, around 9 AM and 9 PM.
