Kai is a Black Mouth Cur x Shepherd mix, estimated to be born around November 20, 2024, and currently weighs 50 lbs. She absolutely loves to run, play, and chase balls, making her the perfect companion for an active family who enjoys adventures. If you dream of long walks on the beach, exciting hikes, or fun car rides, Kai is your girl! She was rescued as a stray after being abandoned in Houston, Texas, but despite her past, she's a truly sweet, intelligent, athletic, and loving soul, eager to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Kai would thrive with an active family. She has met children between 7-10 years old and enjoyed playing fetch with them. She would likely do well in a home with another dog that matches her energy level or as an only fur-child.

Transporation

Kai is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may take her to your state or a neighboring state. Pickup locations may vary. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport.
