Keri

Keri is a sweet, well-mannered lady who originally came to us from Kuwait. She had a tough start but was rescued and made her way to us. After being adopted in 2020, she found herself back with us through no fault of her own. Keri is a lover of naps and could use a little nudge to be a bit more active. She's currently carrying a few extra pounds, partly due to her thyroid, but also from being overfed and under-exercised. She generally does well with dogs her own size but isn't a fan of "yippy" little dogs, and she'd be perfectly happy with no dog companions at all. Cats are also not her cup of tea. Keri dreams of a dedicated owner who will ensure she gets a daily walk or two and is fed the right amount. She knows many commands and is incredibly well-behaved. At her ideal weight, she's in the mid-40-pound range, but she's currently about 25% over that.

Ideal Home

Keri is looking for a moderately active owner who will provide her with the right amount of food and exercise. She's a true companion for someone who enjoys quiet time and wants a dog all to themselves. She's not suited for homes with small, yippy dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Keri has a thyroid condition that contributes to her weight.

Training & Support

Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her main need is for her owner to manage her diet and ensure she gets regular exercise to help her reach a healthier weight.
