Meet Misio, your sweet, goofy teddy bear! 🐻❤️ Misio is a cuddly, medium-energy Australian Shepherd weighing in at 35-37 lbs. He absolutely adores people, loves long walks and sniffing adventures, and is happiest when relaxing near his humans. He warms up instantly and enjoys the company of respectful children. His charming personality is amplified by his unique crossed-paw lounging pose and a cute little tuft of hair by his eye.
Ideal Home
Misio would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a family that uses positive reinforcement methods. He needs a home that appreciates both his adventurous spirit and his snuggly nature. He should be the only pet in the household, as he is unpredictable with other dogs and does not like to share his toys. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. While he loves children, he will react if handled roughly, so a home with respectful boundaries is essential.
Ongoing Health
Misio is healthy and is at a great weight after a successful 16 lb weight loss. He currently takes a few supplements. He prefers gentle handling around his collar and during grooming, but he has made wonderful progress in these areas.
Training & Support
Misio is house-trained, crate-trained, and generally well-mannered in the home. However, he has been known to counter-surf if food is left within reach. He knows basic commands and is very food-motivated, which can be a great asset during training! He walks best on a long leash and settles down nicely after his initial excitement. He also rides well in a crate.
