Meet Coffee! Coffee is a 2-year-old, 40-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her smile. After being found as a stray and raising her puppies, all of her babies have found their forever homes. Now it's finally Coffee's turn to find a family of her very own. This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and loves being with her people. Whether she's soaking up belly rubs, snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or playing with her dog friends, Coffee is happiest when she's surrounded by love and companionship.
Ideal Home
Coffee absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. She enjoys running, playing, and burning off energy with her friends. As an Australian Shepherd mix, she is a medium-to-high energy dog who would do best in an active home that can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Coffee would do best in a home without cats. Because she can be a bit of a jumper, she may accidentally knock over very small children while she's saying hello, so a home with older children would be ideal.

Training & Support
One thing Coffee is working through is some separation anxiety. Because of this, she'd be happiest with someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is home more often than not. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves being part of their daily lives. Coffee has done well with children, though she can get excited and is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor. She is doing well with potty training and walks nicely on leash. She also does well in a crate.
