Mokah

Mokah is a sweet and solid 4-year-old pit bull mix, weighing in at a muscular 42 pounds. She's a true homebody who would love nothing more than to be your loyal companion, laying by your side and soaking up all the attention. Mokah is great with kids and adores people, but she does have one very important need: she must be the only dog in the household. Unfortunately, Mokah was returned to us because she is not good with other dogs. She's not coping well in a boarding environment and is desperately hoping for a loving home where she can truly relax and be cherished. While she's not big on traditional dog toys, Mokah is an enthusiastic chewer who thoroughly enjoys meaty dog treats. She has, however, previously lived with a cat and learned to tolerate, even ignore, her feline housemate. Mokah is housebroken and up-to-date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped.

Ideal Home

Mokah would thrive in a home where she can be the sole focus of affection. She needs a family that understands and can meet her need to be the only dog.

Training & Support

Mokah can get excited and occasionally jump, so continued positive reinforcement training will help her manage her enthusiasm. She loves to chew, so providing her with plenty of appropriate meaty treats will keep her happy and occupied.
