Ideal Home
Snooki would love a home with a canine sibling or two, ideally with an easygoing or submissive personality. She can be a bit of an escape artist and door dasher, so she'll need a watchful home committed to keeping her safe.
Ongoing Health
Snooki is heartworm positive. She is available for adoption within a 1-hour radius of Wake Forest, NC so she can receive her treatment, which the rescue will cover the expenses for. As part of Snooki's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
Training & Support
Snooki is currently working on her manners, including greeting others more calmly and keeping her enthusiasm in check. She can be a bit mouthy and is still learning that people aren't chew toys, but she's on a great path with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. She's building confidence with crate training, house training, and walking nicely on a leash. She's a little unsure around men and finds car rides a bit scary right now, but with patience, structure, and reassurance, she's continuing to grow more confident every day. The rescue will guide you through her heartworm treatment process.
