Meet Joel!

Joel is an approximately three-month-old Pit Bull/Lab mix puppy who's a total heartthrob and cuddle bug rolled into one. With his adorable brindle patches, precious pink toe beans, and one stunning blue eye paired with one warm brown eye, Joel is truly one of a kind. His sweet face has a way of making everyone who meets him instantly fall in love. Out of his entire litter, Joel has earned the title of biggest cuddle bug. He absolutely adores people and believes there's no better place to be than curled up in someone's lap. He's already a certified Velcro puppy and will happily follow you from room to room just so he can be close. Belly rubs are his absolute favorite, and if you're willing to give them, Joel will gladly roll right over and soak up every second of the attention. Joel has never met a stranger. Everyone is a potential new best friend in his eyes, and he greets people with a wagging tail, a happy heart, and plenty of love to give. His gentle, submissive personality makes him an easy puppy to adore, and his affectionate nature shines through in everything he does.

Of course, he's still a puppy, so he has a wonderfully playful side too! Joel loves toys and has already become quite the little fetch champion. Toss a toy across the room, and he'll race after it before proudly bringing it right back for another round. He's also great at entertaining himself, happily carrying toys around or making up his own little games while you go about your day. Joel is growing up alongside his litter mates and absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Wrestling, chasing toys, and exploring the world together are some of his favorite activities. Because he's so social, he'd love a forever home with another playful dog to continue teaching him the ropes and share in all of life's adventures. This handsome boy is also incredibly smart and eager to learn. He's very treat motivated, making training fun and rewarding for both him and his future family. With his loving personality and willingness to learn, Joel has all the ingredients to become an amazing lifelong companion. Like all young puppies, Joel is still learning important life skills. He's working on potty training, crate training, leash walking, and all the important puppy manners. His forever family should be ready to continue his training with patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and lots of love. Raising a puppy takes time and dedication, but the reward is a loyal best friend who will be by your side for years to come.

• The adoption fee is $1200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship).
• A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.

Transporation

Joel is located in Texas and can be transported to a Wags adoption event near you. Wags facilitates adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
