Ramona

Ramona has had a rough start, but she's ready to trade her tough life for a life of luxury as someone's beloved princess! This sweet girl is approximately 5-7 years old and is a strong, healthy dog who truly enjoys gentle pets and attention. She'll even show off her tricks for a tasty treat! Ramona is house-trained and knows commands like "sit," "stay," and "paw."

Ideal Home

Ramona needs a home with experienced owners who understand her past. Due to her sensitivities, we are looking for a home without young children.

Ongoing Health

Ramona arrived with severe ear infections that are improving but will require ongoing medical management and treatment, possibly for allergies. She also had a facial wound that is nearly healed. Her spay surgery and dental cleaning will be included in her adoption. She will receive a full series of vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, and a microchip. She will also come with 30 days of free pet insurance.

Training & Support

Ramona can be nervous around sudden movements and unexpected touch, especially around her head and neck. She is also more reserved with men. She will give warnings if she feels scared, but it's important to respect her space and avoid reaching into her crate or removing her leash abruptly, as she may nip if her warnings are ignored. Patience and understanding will be key to helping her feel safe and secure.
