Meet Remy!

Remy is a charming 4-year-old red heeler mix with a heart of gold. He's the perfect blend of a relaxed couch potato and an adventurous spirit. Remy enjoys quiet evenings on the porch and peaceful mornings, but he also loves a good run and playtime. He’s a fully vetted boy who would truly enjoy a doggy door to easily move between the indoors and the yard, where he can keep an eye on his favorite humans and the birds. Remy's previous family found themselves unable to care for him once he grew out of his puppy stage, so we stepped in to make sure this sweet boy finds the loving family he truly deserves.

Ideal Home

Remy can be a bit shy at first, but his sweet nature shines through once he feels comfortable. He would thrive in a home that offers both relaxation and opportunities for activity. A home with another dog companion would be ideal, as he misses having a playmate and could benefit from a buddy to encourage him to get back to a healthy weight.

Ongoing Health

Remy is fully vetted. He has become a bit chunky since losing his canine best friend and would benefit from fun activities to help him reach his ideal weight.

Training & Support

Remy is a wonderful boy who just needs a little help to get back into his groove. A family that can engage him in fun activities and adventures will be key to his success.

Transportation

Remy is currently in Texas with a foster and will be transported to his new home once adopted. Transport is available as part of the adoption process.
