Anika

Anika is a 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart of gold and a spirit that has truly blossomed. Her past was difficult; she was abandoned with a severely embedded collar that caused her immense pain and a serious wound. Thankfully, she received the necessary surgery and laser therapy and has been incredibly brave throughout her recovery. Now, Anika is ready to share her love and loyalty with a family who will cherish her. She's playful yet alert, loves cuddles, is smart, and travels well in the car.

Ideal Home

Anika would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet. She is looking for a true shepherd lover who will treat her as family.

Ongoing Health

Anika underwent surgery and laser therapy to treat a serious wound on her neck. She has since healed and is doing very well.

Training & Support

Anika is house-trained and knows basic commands. Her past experiences mean she needs a home where she is the only animal to ensure her continued comfort and happiness.
