Henry Chestnut

Henry Chestnut is a handsome 7-year-young Jindo/Carolina Dog mix with a vibrant energy that rivals any puppy! He's looking for his soulmate family to start 2026 with. Henry’s journey began with a close call; he was on a city shelter's euthanasia list due to being scared and a lack of space. Thankfully, he was rescued and has shown us he's not just a survivor but a total joy! Henry is the ultimate "medium energy" companion – always up for a fun walk, but just as happy to curl up indoors for a long nap and relax. He is extremely loving and thrives on human connection, making him a wonderfully affectionate and playful friend.

Ideal Home

Henry would love a home where he can be the center of someone's world. A retired person or someone working remotely would be his dream come true! While a yard is a plus, he does wonderfully on his walks and would be happy in any home that offers him love and consistency.

Ongoing Health

Henry is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Henry is a star pupil and very responsive to training. He is fully potty trained and transitions in and out of his crate with ease.
