Rudy - GUARDIAN HOME OPPORTUNITY

Rudy is a lovable, 7.5-pound toy poodle whose world revolves around finding a good lap to lay on and acquiring belly rubs. He will be four years old this month and is ready for a new guardian home. Rudy was raised with two retired seniors and prefers a quiet life, though he typically does well with older children and other dogs. He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people or going new places, but quickly becomes a great little sidekick that loves to snuggle up on the couch. He is crate and potty trained.

Ideal Home

This is a guardian home opportunity. The ideal home would be within 1.5 hours of Easley, SC, and the family must not have plans to move more than 1.5 hours away within the next 3-4 years. Any other dogs in the home must be spayed or neutered. Rudy prefers a somewhat quiet home.

Ongoing Health

Rudy has OFA certifications for his eyes, patellas, and heart, and has been genetically health tested. The guardian will be responsible for providing regular grooming, high-quality dog food, and heartworm prevention. Rudy's owner will cover the costs of health certifications and breeding purposes.

Training & Support

Rudy is crate and potty trained.

• Guardian home applicants will receive Rudy for no charge as a pet in their home, while all ownership and breeding rights remain with the program until his retirement.
• Upon retirement, ownership will be signed over completely to the guardian.
• This is a contracted, working relationship.
• The program will provide free boarding as needed if you go out of town.
