Meet Guardians of Eden. Heather Angelo is the owner of Edenish Acres, a small farm in rural South Carolina and breeds the Guardians of Eden Cani Corsi and Rottweilers, focusing on temperament, body structure, and health. Guardians of Eden program dogs are selected for bloodlines, temperament, and overall adherence to breed standard and structure. They are raised in a family setting in the home, and are guardians of the farm, livestock, home and family. All litters are planned in advance, and are raised in the home with daily care and interaction. Socialization begins as soon as the puppies receive their first vaccinations, and includes people of all ages, dogs, cats, farm animals, public places, leash walking, and loud noises. Crate training begins once the puppies are weaned, and it is with free access to a dog door leading to a private play yard, which simultaneously helps with beginning house breaking and teaching independence. This also helps to establish the crate as a safe place they choose to go to willingly. When roaming the house, they are trained on diapers to help further housebreaking. It is at this time that puppies are introduced to basic commands (come, sit, stay, and wait). The Guardians of Eden program focuses on breeding and raising well-mannered, even-tempered puppies. Each puppy is evaluated for temperament and personality, which is then used to help match the right puppy with the right family, and the reviews from happy families validates this approach.
