Channel is an 8-month-old, 43.6 lb bundle of love looking for her forever family! She was rescued as the sole survivor of a tragic accident where her littermates fell into an oil pit on a property where corrosive cleaning products were manufactured. Thankfully, a kind rescuer brought her to safety and she's been healing and learning about love ever since. Channel is playful and affectionate, getting along wonderfully with cats, dogs, men, and women. She can be a little shy with new people at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality truly blossoms. She also gets a bit nervous when left alone, so a patient and loving family who can provide reassurance and companionship will help her build even more confidence. Channel has overcome so much and deserves a home filled with safety, stability, and endless love.
Ideal Home
Channel would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities and has a securely fenced backyard. She needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs of a rescued animal, including patience and a willingness to provide protection and education. Experience with dog behavior and training, or a commitment to hiring a trainer, is highly desired. A high tolerance and plenty of patience for rescued puppies are a must.
Ongoing Health
Channel has received a comprehensive health protocol, including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for 4DX and heartworm, and is on monthly preventive protection (Nexgard Spectra). She comes with a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Channel is not currently house-trained, which is common for many rescued pets. Building trust, providing a safe environment, and establishing a routine will be key to her continued adjustment and success in her new home.
