Meet Grace! This sweet and bubbly girl is looking for her forever home. Grace is a petite young lady who has been given a new leash on life after a very rough start. She was rescued as a stray, having bravely raised her babies under a fallen tree during the Texas summer heat. Thankfully, a kind street dog feeder found them and brought Grace and her pups to the rescue. It didn't take long for Grace to make friends with both humans and other dogs, and she's already captured a few hearts! She loves squeaky toys, cuddling with her pup pals, and showing off her zoomies in the courtyard.
Ideal Home
Grace has a strong herding instinct and loves to be around people, preferring to be in a group. She'll happily give sweet affection to everyone nearby, but she may try to "herd" anyone who walks away. She would do best in a home with people experienced with herding dog breeds who can appreciate and manage her natural tendencies.

Grace is fully vaccinated and spayed.

Grace is kennel trained and potty trained. She is also dog-friendly.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog.
- Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive discounts on training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group.
Transportation
Grace is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee. Please note that pick-up locations for transported dogs may vary, including pick-up in a nearby state.
