Ongoing Health
All rescue dogs receive medical care before adoption and are ready for a home when placed. This includes being spayed or neutered (if age appropriate), fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, maintained on heartworm prevention, treated for fleas and ticks, and dewormed as needed.
Training & Support
Lucky is still young and ready to learn. Assume potty training is still in progress and he may need patience, consistency, and training in his new home.

- We are a foster-based nonprofit rescue, and our volunteer team reviews all applications carefully.
- Dogs are matched based on the best fit, not on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Application review can take up to 10 days, or sometimes longer depending on volume. If you do not hear from us after that time, it means we have chosen not to move forward with your application.
Transporation
Lucky is currently being fostered in Adair County, Kentucky. We offer transport for approved adopters to the following locations:
- Greenwood, Indiana
- Wilmington, Ohio
- Washington, Pennsylvania
