Lucy

Hi there, I'm Lucy! I'm a sweet, silly, and loving medium-sized mix with big, soulful eyes and a goofy personality. I'm about a year old and was found injured and alone on the side of the highway in Miami, Florida. Despite my rough start, I'm a survivor and have made a remarkable recovery! I spent a lot of time getting stronger, and now I'm ready to run into your arms. I'm gaining weight and muscle, and I'm already healthy and happy, but all I'm missing is a loving family to call my own.

Ideal Home

I love other dogs and would be happiest with a playful pup friend! I'm also a "Velcro dog" in the best way, meaning I'm super affectionate and want to be near my people. I'll be right by your side whether we're playing, snuggling, or just sitting quietly together.

Ongoing Health

I've been through a lot, but I'm now healthy and happy!

Training & Support

I'm still working on building back muscle after my recovery, but I'm excited to keep learning and growing with my new family.

Transportation

I am currently in Miami, Florida, but my rescue transports North about every two weeks.
