Java (ADOPTION PENDING)

Java is a sweet 3-year-old tri-color Sheltie who is looking for her forever home. She's a young and active pup who would be a wonderful companion for a Sheltie-savvy family. Java is spayed, up-to-date on all vetting, and has wonderful house manners. She is also fine with other dogs and may be okay with cats given her mild temperament. Java loves to play in a secure, fenced-in yard and enjoys being close to her people, especially her foster mom. She can be a little shy around new men, but warms up quickly with treats. Java is currently a little overweight, but with a weight-loss diet and plenty of exercise in her new active home, she should reach her ideal weight.

Ideal Home

Java needs a secure, fenced-in yard where she can run and play. She would do best in a home without toddlers.

Ongoing Health

Java is currently a little overweight and needs to reach a healthy weight of 28-30 pounds.

Training & Support

Java is house-trained and has wonderful house manners. She would benefit from some practice with leash walking. She can be a little shy around new men but warms up quickly with treats.
