Rex

Rex is a handsome boy, likely around six years old, who was found wandering the streets of Houston. Despite being abandoned, he still held onto memories of his past owners and, in a moment of hopeful trust, jumped into a car that approached him, leading him to our rescue. Rex is a dog with a strong personality and a grieving heart. He misses the people who left him behind and can sometimes be reserved, offering his head for pets quietly. He will let you know if he feels uncomfortable, occasionally growling as a warning. He is responsive to kindness and clearly longs for connection. Rex is a shepherd with a strong character who needs an experienced adopter who understands his unique needs and emotional journey.
