Miso

Meet Miso, a sweet and enthusiastic Chiweenie mix who is almost two years old. Miso had a tough start on the streets of Louisiana but has blossomed in his foster home. He's a bit shy at first, but his true love is tennis balls! Forget fancy treats; Miso is easily won over by a good game of fetch or keep-away. Once you've earned his trust, Miso is a delightful companion. He's housebroken, respects boundaries, and doesn't tend to be destructive, though he might playfully nab a shoe if he's feeling bored. He responds well to gentle correction and is currently learning not to jump when excited. At night, he's a champion kennel sleeper, but he does appreciate being tucked into his blankets like a cozy burrito first! Miso is also a sun-worshiper and loves spending time outdoors, never attempting to run off, and he even tolerates baths for the reward of sun-drying afterward.

Ideal Home

Miso would thrive in a home that is relatively quiet, allowing him to decompress and adjust at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Miso is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Miso is working on not jumping up when excited. He is very responsive to correction.
