Charlie

Charlie is a sweet boy who is initially shy but blossoms into a loving companion once he gets to know you. He has a touching history, having been cared for by us periodically over the past year as his owner, Carl, experienced extended hospital stays due to health issues. We would bring Charlie back home when Carl's health allowed. Everyone at Graced kennel, where Charlie currently resides, has fallen in love with him. He's a smart pup who knows basic obedience, is crate and house-trained, and walks well on a leash. We don't yet know how he is with dogs or cats, as our primary focus was ensuring his care while his owner was ill. Sadly, Carl recently passed away without any family to care for Charlie. His church, who considered him family, asked if we could continue to look after Charlie, and we're so glad we can! He's an awesome dog and we're eager to find him a foster or permanent home.

Ideal Home

We're still learning about Charlie's preferences when it comes to other pets, so a home without them would be a great place for him to start as we learn more about his compatibility.

Ongoing Health

Charlie is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Charlie knows basic obedience, is crate-trained, and house-trained. He also walks well on a leash.
