Meet Rilo, a sweet and affectionate companion who is ready to find his forever home! Rilo is a medium-energy boy who strikes the perfect balance between enjoying outdoor adventures and being a total cuddle bug. His previous family raved about his charming personality, especially the big smile he gives whenever he is called a "handsome boy." Rilo is a social butterfly who has successfully lived with young children and cats. He has lived harmoniously with other canine companions in the past. Whether it's a trip to the park, a car ride, or just hanging out with his favorite humans, Rilo is happiest whenever he's part of the action. He particularly loves receiving neck rubs and will lean in for all the pets you're willing to give.

Rilo thrives on being part of the family's activities, whether it's exploring the outdoors or cuddling on the couch.

Rilo is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health concerns at this time.

Training & Support

Rilo already knows several commands, including "sit," "lay down," and "no," and he responds well to his name. He is very food-motivated, which makes him a focused and eager student for future training. While he is a well-behaved gentleman in many ways, he is still working on his house-training and crate-training skills and will benefit from a patient family who can help him master those routines. He can be a bit hesitant meeting new dogs, showing mild body stiffness and moving away on his own.

Rilo is currently located at ACCT Philly at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. We are open for adoptions 7 days a week. Transport may be available within the Philadelphia area.
