Fiona

Fiona is a 10-week-old Labradoodle/Poodle type mix with a coat similar to a Portuguese Water Dog. She's a confident and outgoing pup who loves everyone she meets and has never met a stranger! Fiona is quite savvy and loves to explore, even wading into creeks. She could potentially be a great boat or swimming companion and gets along well with other dogs and cats, always eager to play.

Ideal Home

A home where Fiona can explore and enjoy her love for water. Please do not apply solely because you have allergies, as her coat is not guaranteed to be hypoallergenic, and we would hate to have her returned.

Ongoing Health

Fiona will come spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for her age), and up to date on preventatives. She will also receive an additional exam and health certificate from a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel. She will be bathed prior to adoption. You will also receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi with a 6-month subscription.

Training & Support

Fiona is a playful puppy who gets along well with other animals.

Transportation

Fiona is currently located in Lucedale, MS, at the Rise & Shine Rescue shelter. She is available for transport to a designated pickup location, arriving 1-2 days after the July 31st transport. Transports generally run every two weeks, and your new pet will be placed on the soonest available transport. You are welcome to pick up Fiona in person at our shelter at no additional cost. If you choose our semi-private transport, there is an additional fee of $185. More information about transport will be provided during the adoption process.
