Meet Forrest: A Smart, High-Energy Cuddle Bug! 🌲🎒
Forrest is an inquisitive, happy, and high-energy pup who is looking for an active family to keep up with his smart brain and playful spirit! This very good boy is a total shadow who loves his humans fiercely—expect plenty of puppy kisses and a little tag-along partner wherever you walk in the house. Forrest is incredibly bright and catches onto training remarkably fast. He already knows "sit" and "lay down," and he politely sits before receiving any treats! He thrives in a structured environment and absolutely needs a consistent daily routine to help him succeed.
Ideal Home
Forrest is not suitable for apartment living at this time because he likes to "talk" to get your attention and will bark for about 15 minutes when first left in his crate. He has lots of energy and would love a canine sibling to run around and play tug-of-war with! He is also very curious about cats and will try to play with them (he seems to think they are just small dogs). He is independently playful with toys, too, though he does love chasing human feet for fun!
Ongoing Health
Forrest is working hard on his house training with frequent outdoor breaks. He sleeps wonderfully through the night in his crate, only needing an occasional midnight potty break.
Training & Support
He can be left alone during the day for up to 3 hours, and is currently working on his puppy manners regarding what is appropriate to chew. If you have a routine-oriented home, plenty of love to give, and a desire to continue training a very smart pup, Forrest is ready to complete your family!
