Luna is a delightful 4-month-old, 23lb cattle dog mix with a heart full of potential! She's a playful pup who adores a game of fetch and has a special soft spot for her 9-year-old human companion. Luna has made wonderful progress learning to walk on a leash, which is opening up a world of exercise and adventure, helping her build confidence and feel more at ease.
When Luna first arrived, she was quite fearful of other dogs, a result of limited socialization. Her initial reaction was to retreat and tremble when dogs came near. However, thanks to the patient guidance of the resident dogs, she's blossomed! She's now learning to play and follow their cues, and we believe she would thrive in a home with another dog to continue her socialization journey. An older, mellow dog would be an excellent match for Luna, as she's not overly boisterous. She has also lived with cats in her previous home and did well. Luna can be a bit shy and curious when meeting new people, but with a gentle approach, she'll quickly warm up and be seeking cuddles in no time. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night.
Ideal Home
Luna would thrive in an active home with a person or family dedicated to her training and socialization. A home with another resident dog, especially a calm, mature canine companion, would be ideal for her continued development.
Ongoing Health
Luna is a healthy puppy.
