Meet Rover Journey! This adorable approximately 2-month-old pup weighs around 8.2 pounds. While we suspect he's a Pit Bull/Lab mix, with rescue, it's always a best guess! Rover is one of many puppies needing a safe future, and adopting him will not only save his life but also make space for another dog in need. He's a happy, playful, affectionate, curious, and cuddly pup who is already showing signs of being a well-rounded companion. With his dapper black coat, charming white chest, and tiny white socks, he looks like he's always ready for a special occasion. His sweet face and soulful eyes are sure to melt your heart!
Rover absolutely adores people and showers his humans with puppy kisses. When he's not cuddling, he loves playing with toys, especially a good game of tug-of-war, and wrestling with his puppy siblings before naptime.
Ideal Home
Rover needs a family committed to training, socialization, routine, and the patience that comes with raising a puppy.
Ongoing Health
All vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, has been completed. He has also been tested for heartworm and will receive treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Rover is still learning about the world and will need guidance to grow into a wonderful adult dog. Establishing structure, boundaries, and positive experiences early on is key. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival to help with potty training, confidence building, and developing healthy habits.
