Hi there! I'm Rosie, a stunning Dutch Shepherd with a coat that's as unique as my personality. I'm a smart, loyal, and athletic girl, and my greatest joy is being part of my human's life. Don't let my senior status fool you – I'm still very much in my prime and always ready for an adventure! I love my walks, car rides, and just being included in whatever the day holds. I'm not asking for marathons, but I do enjoy staying active and fit with regular exercise and exciting outings.
Personality-wise, I'm vibrant, sweet, and completely people-focused. Wherever you're going, I'm happy to tag along. Whether it's movie night, visiting friends, or just relaxing at home, I'm a professional snuggler and an excellent companion. I have wonderful house manners, and I greet guests as if they're already part of the family. I'm even respectful of the kitties and give them their space.
Ideal Home
I'll thrive in a home that offers predictability and routine. Because I have a bit of a prey drive (those squirrels really need to be careful!) and can get a little too excited around small dogs, I'd do best in a home without small dogs. I generally get along well with other dogs and currently live harmoniously with my buddy Yogi, but I do best with calm, compatible large dogs and clear introductions. Play that gets too intense or chaotic can make me unsure, so thoughtful management is key for me to shine. My ideal home would also have one compatible male German Shepherd or similar large breed, or an active adopter committed to keeping me mentally and physically engaged through regular exercise and shared adventures.
Ongoing Health
I'm a healthy, active girl!
Training & Support
I have wonderful house manners and am people-focused. I can get a bit excited around small dogs and have some prey drive, so a home without small dogs and with thoughtful management around squirrels will help me be my best self.
