Soft, sweet, and full of puppy wonder, Briar is pure puppy magic — gentle, curious, and absolutely heart-melting. Born in December 2025, this Rat Terrier mix is just beginning to explore the world. With her soft expression and bright eyes, she has a calm sweetness about her that draws people in immediately. She’s still very young, but already shows a beautiful balance of curiosity and tenderness. Briar is playful in that classic puppy way — wiggly, inquisitive, and eager to engage — but she also has a softer side and enjoys being held, cuddled, and comforted. She’s the kind of puppy who seems to soak everything in, learning as she goes and trusting the people around her. Because of her age, Briar will need a committed adopter who understands what raising a young puppy truly involves. She’ll need patience, consistency, training, and lots of love as she grows. In return, you’ll get the incredible experience of watching her develop, gain confidence, and blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion. Briar will be ready for her forever home soon, and we are accepting applications now for adopters who are prepared for all the joys (and responsibilities!) that come with puppyhood. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle pup to grow up alongside you — Briar may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
Ideal Home
Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.
Ongoing Health
Briar is a young puppy and will need to complete her vaccination series and be spayed at the appropriate age.
Training & Support
Briar is a young puppy and will need patience, consistency, training, and lots of love as she grows. Every rescue pup is a work in progress, and that’s the beauty of it. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again. Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home.
