Reacher

Reacher is a sweet, sensitive boy who's really coming out of his shell! He's a medium-sized, mixed-breed adult dog with a yellow/tan/blond/fawn coat. He's working on his leash skills and becoming more playful, and he absolutely loves being close to his person. Reacher is great with other dogs and does well with cats – he'll chase them for fun, then cover them in kisses! He sleeps in a bed or a raised dog bed, enjoys safe veggies, and thinks belly rubs are the best thing in the world. While Reacher has good days and nervous days, he continues to improve with patience and is thriving in foster care. He's not quite adoption-ready yet, but he has so much love to give and is a loving, loyal companion.

Ideal Home

A patient home willing to help Reacher continue building confidence is ideal. He needs a home where he cannot be crated and requires ongoing potty training support.

Ongoing Health

Reacher gets carsick and is scared of baths. Outdoor baths may be easier for him as the weather warms up.

Training & Support

Reacher knows "sit," "lay down," and "stay," and he minds well. He is still working on potty training.
