Rocky

Rocky is a ten-year-old, five-pound gentleman who has faced more challenges than a dog his size should ever have to endure. He was adopted from us once before, only to be found as a stray, a full pound lighter. We don't know what happened in between, and frankly, we're not sure we want to. What we do know is that he arrived with heavy tartar, a grade 2 heart murmur, and alopecia on his ears and hind legs. Despite his past, Rocky has been quiet and gentle from day one. He's described as low fear, friendly, and easy to work with – a dog who clearly knew kindness at some point and never stopped expecting it.

Rocky is now in a foster home and doing wonderfully. He's cleared for a dental cleaning, which we anticipate will make a significant difference in his overall well-being. His heart murmur is being monitored closely as we continue to get to know him better. Rocky is a calm, sweet, and resilient five-pound package of pure love, ready for someone to ensure he never has to face the uncertainty of starting over again.

Ideal Home

Rocky is a calm and sweet companion. He has a history of interacting well with other dogs and children under 8.

Rocky has a grade 2 heart murmur that is being monitored. He also has alopecia on his ears and hind legs. He is cleared for a dental cleaning.

Training & Support

Rocky is described as low fear, friendly, and easy to work with. He is not currently house-trained.
