Brownie

Meet Brownie! She's a sweet, loyal, and loving 2-year-old female German Shepherd mix who weighs about 75 pounds. Brownie is already fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, making her all set to find her forever family. She absolutely adores belly rubs and will happily roll over for some! Her foster family also reports that she's a star at doggie daycare, where she plays wonderfully with other dogs her size. She also enjoys a good romp in the backyard, especially when squirrels are involved! Brownie is fully potty trained and crate trained, doing well even when left alone for periods. She's also a smart cookie, having learned several commands and walking nicely on a leash. Her protective nature means she'll alert you to newcomers, but she's also been trained to go to her "place" and allow guests in calmly. She's also a big fan of car rides!

Ideal Home

Brownie would thrive in a home that can accommodate her energetic spirit and provides plenty of opportunities for play. Due to her size, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and older. She is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Brownie is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Brownie is already potty and crate trained, and she listens well to commands. She can be protective of her home and will alert to strangers, but she knows how to settle down when guests arrive. With a little more training, she could be a fantastic running companion.
