Bugsy

Hi there! My name is Bugsy, and I'm a charming 16-pound Bichon Frise mix with a heart of gold. I may seem a little reserved at first, but that's just because I like to take my time getting to know new people. Patience is key with me! Once I feel comfortable and trust you, I transform into the most affectionate and silly companion you could ask for. I absolutely adore attention and cuddles once we've bonded. I also love going for walks and am a pro at knowing my basic manners, including being potty trained, though I do need regular reminders to go outside to do my business.

Ideal Home

A patient and understanding home is what I'm looking for. I'm friendly with older kids (12+) and dogs, but I do have some specific boundaries with my canine friends – I prefer they don't approach me when I'm resting or when I'm enjoying time with my human.

Ongoing Health

I am a healthy senior pup and all my medical expenses will be covered for life by the sanctuary.

Training & Support

I am potty trained, but I do need you to take me outside regularly. My initial shyness will fade with patience and positive reinforcement, leading to lots of cuddles and fun!
