Freyja

Freyja is a sweet and affectionate girl who is looking for a patient and experienced dog parent to show her the ropes. She was found abandoned and scared, but despite her rough start, she has a heart full of love to give. Freyja adores cuddling on the couch and going for car rides with the windows down – she especially loves her 9-year-old human foster sister!

Ideal Home

Freyja would do best in a home with an experienced owner who has cared for large dogs before and understands shy or fearful dogs. She would thrive with a family that can be home with her, as she enjoys companionship.

Ongoing Health

Freyja is up to date on vaccinations and has a negative heartworm test.

Training & Support

Freyja is still learning to manage her excitement when playing and may jump on people. Due to her size, gentle guidance and continued training are recommended. She will also need help with housebreaking and establishing a potty schedule. She is not a fan of crates and can be vocal when left in one. Like many pit bulls, she will benefit from having sturdy chew toys.

• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $600, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heartworm test (if over 6 months old), a health certificate, monthly flea and tick preventative, and transport costs.
• Adoption interviews and meet-and-greets are conducted via video call.
• The adoption application and fee are finalized prior to transport.

Transportation

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption in Northern States. Transports depart from Texas monthly.
