Copper is a distinguished gentleman of about 7 years of age, a handsome hound mix who weighs in at a solid 70 pounds. He's a polite pup who knows "paw" and "sit" like a true pro! Copper is exceptionally well-behaved, never having accidents in the house. He's a quiet and laid-back companion who still enjoys a good sniff and play with toys, but his favorite activities involve napping and lounging in comfort. He's a smart cookie who picks up on routines quickly and is a pro with doggy doors and his crate.

Ideal Home

Copper would be happiest as the sole object of your affection, a true "one and only." While he can get along with some other dogs, it's best if there are no food or snacks involved. At his age, he deserves all the love and attention he can soak up! He'd do wonderfully in a home with older children and would prefer a feline-free and animal-free environment.
