Meet Lacey, a petite and incredibly social canine with a face that could melt even the coldest heart! This approximately year-and-a-half-old, 31-pound pup, possibly a boxer/terrier mix, is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and snuggle expert. Lacey navigates the world with Olympic-level social skills, making her a true gem. She’s a diplomat among dogs, a sweetheart to humans, and surprisingly chill with cats. Whether she’s joining you on a challenging hike or curling up on the couch, Lacey is the definition of well-rounded. She possesses an impressive ability to emotionally regulate, calmly disengaging from overstimulating situations and happily rejoining when she’s ready. Her politeness extends to treat-taking, where she accepts offerings with a delicate gentleness. Lacey is also a dream on leash, making her an ideal companion for neighborhood strolls, patio dates, road trips, and farmers market visits.
Ideal Home
Lacey could thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the attention, or with playful dog siblings. She's adaptable to apartment living with an active family or would love a home with a backyard. While she showed great composure around a cat, slow introductions or a cat test are recommended. She has not yet been officially kid-tested, but her gentle, social, and adaptable nature suggests she would be a wonderful family dog. We can arrange a kid-test for interested adopters.

Lacey is fully vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Training & Support
Lacey is crate-trained and treat-motivated. She's a quick learner and her wonderful balance of active outside and calm inside makes her an easy dog to live with.

Transporation
Lacey is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
