Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a striking 4-year-old husky with a heart as golden as her spirit. At 45 lbs, she's as intelligent as she is loving, captivating with her piercing blue eyes. Lucy is a devoted companion who forms deep bonds with her people and thrives in a pack environment. She was rescued from a difficult situation where her former family couldn't manage a skin condition, and she found herself on an euthanasia list at a municipal shelter. Thankfully, we stepped in and gave her a second chance at a happy life, and she's now thriving in foster care.

Ideal Home

Lucy would do best in a home where someone works from home or in a household with other dogs to keep her company. She is great with dogs and has shown potential with cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet home.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition has healed beautifully with a change in diet and is no longer a concern. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is a remarkably quick learner and is eager to continue her training. She is already house-trained and responds well to positive reinforcement and treats. She can be vocal when excited about food or if dinner is delayed, but she is polite with visitors and doesn't bark at them. A structured routine with plenty of exercise is key to her happiness.
