Meet Poe, a vibrant 3-year-old neutered male Rottweiler mix with a factory tail and a love for action! Poe is ready to dive headfirst into exciting activities and would be thrilled to find a human companion to share in doggie sports like dock diving or Fast CAT. He's a driven boy who aims to please and is happy to relax in his crate when it's time to wind down.

Ideal Home

Poe would do best as the only dog in the home or as part of a "crate and rotate" pack. He absolutely needs a securely fenced yard to satisfy his need for running and exercise. His ideal adopter has experience with sports dogs and understands the importance of providing ample opportunities for him to burn energy, as he can become destructive if not sufficiently exercised. He is not recommended for homes with young children.

Poe is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Poe is learning to walk nicely on a leash and has a good foundation with fetch. He is crate trained. To prevent destructive behavior, consistent exercise and mental stimulation are key.
