Silly Samson Splashes in the Day and Cuddles at Night

Oh my goodness, get ready to meet the most wonderful companion! Samson is a handsome, affectionate fellow with a tail that never stops wagging and a love for all things splashy. He's a young, gorgeous canine who is sure to steal your heart and won't be available for long!

We believe Samson is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 72 pounds, likely a Lab mix. As with many rescues, these are our best guesses, but what we do know for sure is that he's a true Texas treasure!

Ideal Home

Samson is a water enthusiast and would be thrilled to join a family that loves aquatic adventures, whether it's the lake, beach, or pool! He would do best in a home with a fenced yard, as he loves to explore and play. While Samson is very dog-friendly and enjoyed playing with other dogs, he is a bit too enthusiastic for feline friends and would do best in a home without cats. He also loves to be near his people, so a family that appreciates a cuddle buddy and has older children who understand how to interact with a big dog would be a great fit.

Training & Support

Samson is a natural runner and would make a great jogging partner. He's also very affectionate and enjoys being close to his people. He's ready to learn and grow with his forever family.

Transportation

Samson is currently located in our Texas facility. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A transportation surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
