Spunky is a young pup, born around September 2023, whose journey has already shown just how resilient and full of life he is. He was found outside the primary school in Bucerias after being hit by a car, with three breaks in his back legs. Thanks to surgery, plates, and careful recovery, he healed beautifully and is now strong, healthy, and ready for adoption. During his surgery he was also neutered, and he has received all of his vaccinations, so he is fully prepared to start his new life with a family. Despite everything he has been through, Spunky’s spirit shines. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to play and explore, always eager to share his joy with people. He is happiest when he’s active, and his playful energy makes him a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys walks, adventures, and plenty of time outdoors. While he does get along with other dogs, his enthusiasm can sometimes be overwhelming, so he will likely thrive best as the only dog in the home. Spunky has overcome so much already, and now he is ready for his next chapter—a forever family to call his own.

Transporation
Spunky is currently in Nayarit, MX. He can be adopted locally or can fly to his new family/home outside of any heat embargos. Common flight destinations include Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Victoria.
