Lucy

Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a 4-year-old husky mix who is as intelligent as she is affectionate! Lucy is a devoted "love bug" with a heart of gold and piercing blue eyes. She's highly treat-motivated and eager to learn, showing remarkable progress in obedience training. Lucy is also house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She was surrendered due to a skin condition, but she's now thriving with a healthy diet and is on the mend.

Ideal Home

Lucy thrives in a structured environment with a consistent routine. She'd do best in a home where someone works from home or with other dogs to keep her company during the day. She's already shown to be devoted to her foster family's older dog and is good with other dogs. She has also made initial introductions with cats and may do well in a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is healing perfectly, and she is responding well to a healthy diet. She is currently in great health.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and loves to please. She is vocal, especially when she wants a treat or her dinner is delayed, but she doesn't bark at visitors. She enjoys mental stimulation with chew toys and frozen treats. Two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute exercise session daily will keep her happy and content.
